Join us for Women United in Philanthropy’s Third Thursday Happy Hour with a Purpose. We will be featuring Ginine Cilenti, Executive Director at Diabetes Foundation, and Pamela Weber-Leaf, Senior Consultant. Diabetes is the ninth-leading cause of death for women in New Jersey. We will discuss women’s health and risk factors related to diabetes and pre-diabetes, including those that come into play as women age to menopause and beyond. In addition, we will discuss the complex problem of navigating medical expenses for women facing poverty.
